Experience
Steve is a Member in our audit and assurance service group.  He has over twenty-five years of public accounting experience in international and local firms.

Steve has managed audit and related services for clients in numerous industries, including distribution, manufacturing, governments and not-for-profit organizations.  Steve leads our Governmental Services Practice and is also heavily involved in our Employee Benefit Plan Services practice.  Steve has performed additional services including fraud investigations, due diligence services, and various agreed-upon procedures engagements.  

Steve is also in charge of directing the training and education programs for Thompson Dunavant professionals.

Professional Affiliations 
Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Memphis Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Steve is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Affordable Housing Association of CPAs.  He is a past Director and Board Member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
