Experience
Steve is a Member in our audit and assurance service group.  Prior to joining Thompson Dunavant in 2006, Steve practiced public accounting for twenty-four years with Deloitte & Touche LLP in their audit and assurance services group and for four years as owner of his own firm.  Steve's entire career has been devoted to the practice of public accounting and has over thirty years of experience providing audit and consulting services to a variety of clients.

Steve has in-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of accounting, auditing and financial reporting, as well as extensive experience in buy-sell audit engagements, due diligence projects, public and private placement debt and equity offerings, internal audit and internal control projects, and accountin consulting services for various clients.  Steve has managed audit and related services for clients in numerous industries, including wholesale-distribution, manufacturing, services, construction, transportation, not-for-profits, governments, and utilities.

Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Management Accountants.  Steve is licensed to practice in the states of Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
